University History

The construction of the first college on the land of Sinai began in 1982 after the liberation of El-Arish from occupation, and the College of Education was under the umbrella of the Suez Canal University in Ismailia. This was followed by the establishment of the first distinguished faculty in its teaching style, which is the Faculty of Environmental Agricultural Sciences in Al-Arish in 1988. A number of other colleges were established, such as the College of Physical Education, the College of Science, and the Institute for Environmental Studies, so that Republican Decree No. 147 was issued in 2016 to establish the University of El-Arish and separated it from the mother university "Canal University Suez"

The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Habash Ibrahim Al-Nadi, took over as the first president of the University of El-Arish, and many other colleges have been established so far to include the university the following colleges:

The campus consists of three different places:

The university campus in Al-Arish, the suburb of Al-Salam area

Al-Masaeed area includes the College of Physical Education

And the city of Bir al-Abd and includes the Institute of Environmental Studies.

There is a gathering for the Student City and the Student City in the suburb area of Al-Arish, as well as lounges and a hotel for faculty members, guests and senior visitors.

As well as there is a model farm with many productive projects of fish production, animal production, and vegetable and fruit production.
